“Employers are overpaying for high-cost claims, and most of them can’t see it because the data is buried, fragmented or controlled by someone else,” said Jake Velie, CEO and Clinical Advisory Board Chairman of National Integrative Health. “Martial has spent more than two decades building the platforms and AI that make that data usable, including at OptumRx and Optum Health, so he knows exactly how the system works from the inside. Bringing him onto the NIH team means we can show our clients what’s really driving their spend, prove the savings and scale that faster than anyone else in this space. That’s a big deal for us, and it’s an even bigger deal for the employers and members we serve.”
